Canine First Aid & Health Awareness

Live Vet-Led Webinar Series  Starting March 2026!

Canine First Aid & Health Awareness is a 4-week live online webinar series designed for children who love dogs and want to understand how to care for them safely and responsibly.

The sessions are led by a qualified veterinary surgeon and focus on health awareness, observation skills, and calm decision-making.

The series is suitable for a wide range of learners, including those who are simply animal lovers as well as those who are curious about how vets help animals.

What is a webinar?

A webinar is a live online learning session delivered via Zoom. Learners join from home and watch the tutor explain the topic using clear PowerPoint slides.

Learners will not have audio or cameras during the session and may take part by typing questions in the chat or responding to optional on-screen polls or quizzes.

Webinars can be accessed on laptops, PCs, tablets, or mobile phones.

What learners will gain

By the end of the series, learners will:

  • Feel more confident recognising when a dog may need veterinary help

  • Understand common canine injuries and first aid principles

  • Learn how to spot health changes using observation rather than equipment

  • Practise making calm, safe decisions in real-life scenarios
